Santiago Calatrava's remarkable City of Arts
and Sciences has a number of iconic
buildings but perhaps the most unusual is
L'Umbracle which at first sight appeares to
be an elevated garden sheltering beneath an
avenue of skeleton-like arches. It is
in fact an elaborate parking garage.   This cone marks the pedestrian entrance to the parking garage.      |
