The rather
monolithic University College Hospital
building occupies a location on Euston Road
between Gower Street and Tottenham Court
Road.  Phase 1 of the development was completed in 2005 and comprised a 17-storey tower that contained ward accommodation providing 680 beds. The podium block contains out-patient facilities and operating theatres. There is also a two storey basement housing radio-diagnostic, radio-therapy and related facilities.  Phase 2 is the
