The Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) Arcades were designed at the end of the 1980s by Gottfried Bohm in collaboration with his wife, Elizabeth Bohm. The building is home to the library, press archive, a historical archive and data services on the second floor. On the lower floors there are shops and restaurants.
