The concert hall's website describes the building as comprising a diverse range of spaces that have played host to an amazing range of cultural events. "The Main Auditorium is the largest performance space in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, and can seat 2,475 people. Other spaces in the hall include the 400 capacity Strathclyde Suite, the 300 capacity Exhibition Hall, the 120 capacity Buchanan Suite and multiple other breakout spaces." It is also home to the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. It was designed by Sir Leslie Martin, the architect of London's Royal Festival Hall.
