Description

The Allen Lambert
Galleria is a six-storey high pedestrian
walkway with a spectacular roof of steel
and glass that has been described as the,
"crystal cathedral
of commerce." The roof is
supported by a series of steel columns
that branch out into parabolic shapes
creating a roof that resembles a forest
canopy. Beneath the canopy is a
walkway that provides access to office
spaces on either side. There are
also retail units, a Marche restaurant and
the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The Galleria is named after Allen Thomas
Lambert who was a banker and former
chairman of the Toronto Dominion Bank.
The glass sculpture
below features in the galleria. It
was created by Jeff Burnette of
Vancouver.
