 The Barcelo Renacimiento hotel occupies a location beside the former Expo 1992 site in Seville. It is composed of a podium building above which rise three low circular towers. The hotel explains that these three buildings symbolise the three ships of Columbus and, "... the hotel was inaugurated on the occasion of the fifth centenary of the discovery of America in the framework of the Universal Exposition in Seville in 1992."    |
