The International Convention
Centre describes itself as, "... the UK’s premier purpose-built convention centre" and adds
that "... its design and
construction was hugely significant in its
impact on Birmingham, the wider region and
indeed the UK in the provision of cutting
edge, high quality, flexible, conference
space." The building incorporates a convention centre, with conference and exhibition spaces, including a 3,000 seat hall, and the Birmingham Symphony Hall. In addition there are restaurants and the Castle Fine Art Gallery. A large atrium provides a walkway through the ICC and bridges and terraces provide access for delegate and concert goers. |
