Description |
|
Apparently, this building, on
the corner of University Avenue and King
Street, was original built in 1959.
From 1994 until 1996 it was stripped back
to its concrete frame and then rebuilt to
a design by Boris Zarafa. That led
to the creation of what is described as a
Class 'A' 12-storey office tower. In
2010 the building was purchased by
Manulife Financial for Cdn$82.2
million. The Manulife Financial website says that, "100 University Avenue is distinguished in Toronto's landscape by its bold architectural wave feature and Brazilian granite cladding." |
