The website of the Royal Conservatoire of Music in Glasgow says that, "... We moved to our purpose-built premises in Renfrew Street, just behind Glasgow’s famous Sauchiehall Street in 1987. In 1997 we added the superb facilities of the Alexander Gibson Opera School. Today, our facilities at Renfrew Street include:

Five licensed peformance spaces in which we stage around 500 performances every year
Stevenson Hall – capacity 355
New Athenaeum Theatre – capacity 344
Ledger Recital Room – capacity 108
Alexander Gibson Opera Studio – capacity 154
Chandler Studio Theatre – 98   
Teaching rooms and rehearsal spaces
