This block in Marylebone is
bound by George Street, Manchester Street,
Robert Adam Street and Baker Street.
I have found, for the most part, little
information about what I regard (and
apparently I am alone in this) as an
interesting multi-use block of apparently
1970s architecture. I say 1970
because on the Robert Adam Street side of
the block there is a church that has a
plaque indicating that it was built in
1970. Other sources have attributed
the church to the architectural practice
of Green Lloyd & Adams. The
block, as you can see includes a parade of
shops along George Street with apartments
above ....![]() ![]() ![]() More apartmments and possibly offices in the tower on Manchester Street ...... ![]() ..... and along Robert
Adam Street the church of St Paul
Portman Square and more residences
