Description |

This block in Marylebone is
bound by George Street, Manchester Street,
Robert Adam Street and Baker Street.
I have found, for the most part, little
information about what I regard (and
apparently I am alone in this) as an
interesting multi-use block of apparently
1970s architecture. I say 1970
because on the Robert Adam Street side of
the block there is a church that has a
plaque indicating that it was built in
1970. Other sources have attributed
the church to the architectural practice
of Green Lloyd & Adams. The
block, as you can see includes a parade of
shops along George Street with apartments
above .... More apartmments and possibly offices in the tower on Manchester Street ...... ..... and along Robert
Adam Street the church of St Paul
Portman Square and more residences
