Description
|
An angular twenty-eight storey tower that
was originally built for the Associated
Television company. Pevsner points out
that, "The tower cranks in the
middle and has Pirelli-style tapered ends."
This referred to the similar Pirelli Tower in
Milan designed by the architect Gio Ponti and
completed 15 years before the Alpha Tower.
