Description
|
This huge office
building by Richard Seifert & Partners was
once known as New Printing House Square.
That name came from the fact that it was once
home to the Times newspaper as one of the
steps in its migration around London.
Prior to its move to Gray's Inn Road, the
Times had occupied a building in Printing
House Square in the centre of London. It
moved from there to this building before
moving again to Wapping and then to
Broxbourne. The building has a U-shaped
configuration with a taller block linking the
parallel sides. The facade is clad with arched
concrete panels.
