Built for the Coventry College of Art & Design and named after Graham Sutherland, whose tapestry is a focal point of the nearby Coventry Cathedral.  The University's website says of the building that it is, " ... used for our design students, including; Fashion, Graphic, Art and Automotive. It is filled with:
  • Workshops for ceramics, textiles, painting, sculpture, fine printmaking, jewellery, metalwork, plastic forming, casting, automotive clay modelling and digital media
  • Dedicated computer and media studios/laboratories
  • Sonic welding equipment and dedicated fashion workrooms"
