This building in Place des Arts in Montreal was completed in time for Expo 67.  It is home to the Théâtre Maisonneuve, named in honour of the founder of the city of Montreal, Paul de Chomedey, sieur de Maisonneuve.  The theatre features a large multi-functional stage, an orchestra pit and projection facilities and has hosted circus arts, stand-up comedy, performances by small ensembles and soloists, musicals, and film screenings.  It occupies the upper part of this building.  Also in the building are the Théâtre Jean-Duceppe, and the Studio-théâtre.
