This modest block of flats was designed by the
eminent architect James Stirling, after whom
the Stirling Prize for Architecture was
named. It involves four floors of flats
built for the London Borough of Camden filling
a gap in a terrace that was probably created
during the London bombing. Red bricks
are used on the front and rear facades in
bands between rows of windows. The
building sits on pillars that create an
underground garage.
The living-rooms look out
to the garden at the rear of the building.
