Description
When 338 Euston Road was built in 1969 it was a typical sixties office tower.  In the early 1990s Sheppard Robson refurbished the building turning it from what some people regarded as an international style box into this post-modernist building.  The Estatesgazette.com website describes the building we see today as, "A striking modern building forming part of a landmark development excellently located close to Regent's Park."

The recladding of the building involved the architects in a process of researching for the most appropriate materials for the building and the setting.  They say that, “As architects, we constantly research industry developments. We have an award-winning interior design team who keep up to speed on quality interior products and advise throughout the design process. We looked at a range of materials of various qualities, light, colouration instance, StoVerotec Glass matched our requirement. It provided the necessary high visual impact at the building entrance, giving the space the presence required on Euston Road."
