Description
|
Today this building in Piazza
Tommaso Edison belongs to the Unicredit
Bank. It was built originally as the
Milan Headquarters of the Bank of Rome,
which is probably revealed by the sculpture
of Romulus and Remus on the curved
facade. Behind the curved facade is
the former council chamber decorated by a
beautiful fresco entitled "Allegory
of the Shops
in different
historical periods"
created by Achille Funi.
