Description |
|
A 27-storey tower that has been
completely renovated in recent years and
connected to a new 68-storey tower by a
14-storey high glass atrium.
The building was designed for the Bank of Nova
Scotia in 1928 but the depression and the war
placed a hold on its construction for over 20
years. The carved bas-relief
panels on the facade were created by
sculptor Fred Winkler.
