Description
This HSBC Bank building on Holborn opened in the 1950s as a branch of the Midland Bank as revealed by the coat of arms above the corner entrance door.  Pevsner describes it as featuring, "... giant pilasters and cornice, visually unsupported by lower storeys.  Turrret on Fetters Lane corner with an undersized copper-clad lantern."
