Description
|
The complex is made up of four
blocks of flats around a central garden and
parking area. It is named after nearby
Cundy Street which itself is probably named
after the Cundy Family. The Cundy's
provided three generations of architects and
builders who served the Grosvenor Estate.
Pevsner describes the flats as follows, "These
funny creatures have the upright profiles and
coloured cylindrical columns of the fifties,
with the long rounded balconies of the
thirties."
