Description
|
This building on the McGill University Campus
was built originally to house the Protestant
School Board. The bas-relief carvings on
the facade reflect its connection to education.

When it was purchased by McGill in 1960, it was
renamed after the university's principal
(between 1895 and 1919), Sir William
Peterson. Today, it is home to the Arts
Department.
