Description
This Sports Direct shop on London's Oxford Street occupies a building that was originally a branch of F W Woolworth & Co.  The site was occupied from 1880 until 1930 by the Royal Princess Theatre before it was demolished to make way for this building.  Since Woolworths left in the mid 1980s, the store has had a number of occupants.  Prior to Sports Direct it was a flagship store for HMV.
