Description
Designed by Sir John Burnet and Thomas Tait, this church on Kensington Palace Terrace is Grade II Listed.  It is constructed of narrow red bricks, dressed with Portland stone and topped with a pantiled roof.  The L-shaped building incorporates a church auditorium, a sunday school hall and offices.  The listing comments say that it has a, "... main auditorium advanced to right and gabled with triple round headed windows. Wing to left set back, two storeyed, with single storeyed covered walkway in front, and advanced bay to left, with main entrance. Further entrance in left hand return of auditorium block. Round headed windows with some stone shafts and capitals. Adjoining garden wall, red brick and Portland stone with arched entrance and wrought iron gates. Some inlayed panelling to auditorium interior."















The foundation stone under the main window is a solid block of granite brought from New Hampshire, USA.
