warehouse and office building designed in
the Amsterdam School style for Gunters and
Meuser. The Rijksmonumenten website
says that it has, "... a substantially
rectangular floor plan in dark brown
brick ... originally consisting of
four storeys ... The building is
covered by a flat roof. The
facade is divided into three parts
(with) a large central bay ...Above
the storefronts in iron decorative
letters: TRADE IN HARDWARE."
Both lifting
beams contain the date "ANNO 1917" carried
out in graceful wrought iron.
