Description
This Category B Listed facility in Kelvingrove Park was created in the 1920s featuring an oval-shaped ampitheatre focusing on a bandstand that has a raked full-width platform with a canopy that projects at the front.  It closed in 1999 and fell into disrepair ending up on the Building at Risk Register.  In 2012 a restoration plan was implemented putting it back into its original glory in time for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
