This study of Stockport Road has divided the road into five sections:

Section One: - Grey Street to Upper Plymouth Grove

Section Two: - Upper Plymouth Grove to Richmond Grove
Section Three: - Richmond Grove to Kirkmanshulme Lane
Section Four: - Kirkmanshulme Lane to Stanley Grove
Section Five: - Stanley Grove to East Road
