The Longsight Library closed for renovation.

Manchester City Council says this about the project, "Longsight Library is undergoing a major refurbishment which will create a landmark building on Stockport Road: a state-of-the-art library and a brand new Adult Learning Centre. The project will see Manchester Library and Information Service and Manchester Adult Education Service working in partnership to bring an exciting new joint service to the Longsight community."
