The Havelock Inn The
Havelock
Inn sat on the corner of New Bank Street and Ducie
Street (later renamed Dillon Street). Its
next-door neighbour was St. Clement's Church. The Havelock was a Yates pub
offering "Gold Medal - Ardwick Ales".
I
don't have an image of the Havelock Inn but if you

Below is an image of the site in
2009. As you can see the houses which lined
this side of New Bank Street are gone to be
replaced by this grass verge. The Havelock
Inn was swept away during the redevelopment of the
area in the 1970s.
