The Anson pub occupied a site on Beresford Road between Duncan Road and Farrer Road. 

Below is an image of the Anson after it had closed as a pub but while the name plaque was still visible.

In 2014 when I took the images below, the Anson sign was gone and replaced with one that says "Burhan Centre".  The building was home to cash & carry businesses and a branch of the Asian clothing company Burooj.
