St. Robert's R. C. Church

St Robert's Church use to stand on Hamilton Street adjacent to St. Robert's School.  This modern church building opened in 1970 and at the time cost £108,000 to build. It replaced an older and smaller church.  However, the church closed in 2003 and was subsequently demolished.  The image below shows the demolition process underway.
