Bradley House is a "Flat Iron" style building standing on a triangular shaped site where Port Street and Newton Street meet Dale Street.  As the sketch map below shows, in 1888 the building was home to Kessler & Co who used a portion as a shipping warehouse and Joseph Wood and Sons who had a hat factory at the other end of the building.
