In August of 2019, this building on Charles Street, between Pritchard Street and Donald Street, was home to "YES" described by Emily Heward  and Daisy Jackson in the Manchester Evening News on September 1, 2018 as, "...about to become Manchester's hottest new music venue." Apparently, it contains, "...two live music and club spaces, as well as two food offerings and an outdoor roof terrace."

Maps from the 19th Century indicate that prior to this building being erected the site was occupied by a terrace of dwellings facing Pritchard Street and two shops at the Charles Street end on the block.
