Great Northern Square

As part of the redevelopment of the Great Northern Warehouse a public square was created at the corner of Peter Street and Deansgate.

This was once a bustling goods terminal and home to the Great Northern Railway Company's Goods Warehouse, now converted into a leisure and retail complex.


Below you can see the site in 1953.  The red line defines the area of today's Great North Square.
