The Independent Chapel on Chapel Street in Salford was built in 1819.  Pevsner describes as follows: "One storey over a tall basement.  Brick with a hipped roof.  Stone steps divide into two branches and lead to a stone balustraded platform serving the two main entrances, which have radial fanlights."
