Trinity Bridge

The pedestrian pathway that runs between Albert Bridge House and Alberton House leads to the River Irwell. The Trinity Bridge takes the footpath across the river to the Lowry Hotel.

The bridge was designed by Santiago Calatrava Valls, a Spanish architect, sculpture and structural engineer. He has created a number of spectacular bridges around the world, as well as an Art Museum in Milwaukee, in the USA, and the BCE Place in Toronto, Canada.
