architect for the Cooperative Wholesale Society and
Gordon Tait was a partner in Sir John Burnet, Tait
& Partners.
The CIS Tower,
Miller Street - 1959 - 1962
For many years the CIS Tower was the tallest building in Manchester.   In recent years the tower has been clad with photovoltaic panels.      |
