In this section of the site you can view a collection of Manchester's buildings organized by the decade in which they were built.  You can do this by clicking on the appropriate date on the menu above.  Note:  This is not a difinitive collection of all the buildings constructed during each decade.  It is only intended to provide examples of the kind of architecture representative of that period in history.  Viewers will see a number of captioned images without any detailed descriptions.  If you wish to find out more about any of the buildings, you can do that by consulting the Index or the City Tours.
