The Nicholls Ardwick High School was the culmination of a hundred years of schooling in the Devonshire Street area. It began with a school in St. Mathew's Hall, expanded into 3 schools with different roles and then merged back together to form Nicholls Ardwick. A hundred years later this celebration was held to mark the achievement. Unfortunately, 23 years later St Mathew's Hall, Ardwick Tech and the Ardwick Girls School are all gone and Nicholl's is no longer a high school.
