Description
The water polo arena at the 2012 London Summer Olympics was designed to be a temporary building.  The 5,000 seat venue was designed by the architectural practice of David Morley who say of it that, "This demountable venue creates an emerging form of architecture for future Olympic Games. It is made from a Kit of Parts that comes from and can return to the supply chain. ... The Venue includes a competition pool, warm-up pool and ancillary accommodation for spectators, athletes, press and VIPs."

The fabric skin of the building had inflatable pockets that added insulation and reduced condensation within the building.
