Description
The Nordenga Bridge is in fact two bridges, one that carries pedestrians and bicycles over the railroad tracks and one that carries cars.  The five metre wide pedestrian/cycle bridge was opened officially on August 26, 2011 and the road bridge was opened 4 days later.  The total length of the bridge is 306 metres.

The bridges foundations are piles in the bedrock. The steel structure for the bridge was produced in sections in the Netherlands, welded together at the side of the rail tracks and finally pulled into position.  In all 1900 tonnes of steel and 4200 m3 of concrete were used in the construction of the bridge.
