Description
These two buildings represent stage one of a four stage development planned for the Sheaf Street corridor.  The building on the left above is the "Electric Works" which is designed to provide high quality meeting and conference facilities.  It also offers its occupants a unique feature in the shape of a fully enclosed helter skelter as an option for those wishing to make a quick descent through the building.  The Electric Works claim that they offer, " .. state-of-the-art IT and plug-and-play offices," providing, "a fantastic set-up for forward thinking businesses who are aiming to expand their horizons."

The building on the right above is Ventana House about which the architects promise that, "Stepping into the light and spacious reception atrium, you’ll discover that second impressions can be as breathtaking as the first. The building makes maximum use of this space, with each upper floor having a balcony overlooking the atrium."  The name Ventana (meaning window in Spannish) was apparently chosen to emphasise one of its major assets.  The building offers five floors of office space and a covered parking floor.  In 2011, when these images were taken, the buildings occupants were Kennedy’s solicitors, Sky, Michael Page and the Coal Board Pension Trustees.
