Description
The International Manufacturing Centre was the first of a cluster of buildings added to the University of Warwick campus for the Warwick Manufacturing Group and the University.

The architect says of it that, "The £11m building houses manufacturing technology, teaching and research facilities arranged in two spine wings, flanking a 4-storey high engineering hall housing machinery and testing facilities."  It was built over an 8 year period in three phases.  The most recent phase in 2002 has, " ... recently been adopted as a Demonstration Project by the Movement for Innovation (M4i) in the Midlands, a government sponsored organisation promoting best practice in procurement and construction."
