Description
One Park West is a residential development designed by Cesar Pelli who was responsible for many of the buildings at London's Canary Wharf.  It consists of two high-rise blocks, the tallest reaching 17-storeys, that contain 326 apartments, offices, restaurants, cafés and parking.  The developments sits beside Chavesse Park and is part of the huge Liverpool One shopping area. Cesar Celli says of it that, "The project is envisioned as a significant landmark on the waterfront ... The building anchors the northwest edge of Chavasse Park. Balconied apartments offer views of the park, the Mersey River and the ocean beyond. The building’s curve reinforces the grand ellipse that embraces the park and the building is stepped down to the east to merge with the landform."
