the architect Amin Taha spotted the
single-storey deli of the Gazzano family
and realized the potential for adding
residential space above the shop.
The architect's website says that the
exterior of the building. that is clad in
Cor-Ten steel, "... is
characterised by clarity of detail,
with the solidity of the envelope
progressively broken down and peeled
back to penetrate and reveal the
inhabited spaces. ....
Weathering will furthere suggest an
empathetic relationship between the
building and its neighbours." |
