| Field's is a shopping mall
located close to the Ørestad Metro
Station. It describes itself as, "
... Scandinavia's largest shopping
centre ... The most innovative and
exciting shopping- and leisure
destination in Scandinavia."
The building has a total shopping area
that is equivalent to the size of 18
football pitches. It offers
visitors more than 140 shops as well as
cafés, restaurants and a variety of
entertainments. The architects say
that, " ... Field's is not just
Scandinavia's largest shopping
centre - it is a whole town under
one roof. ... Daylight streams into
the centre through all its storeys
and via the many glass walls. The
seven-metre broad thoroughfares with
their many inviting squares
emphasise the open and transparent
nature of the complex." |
