Christchurch Court, London

Architect
Rolfe Judd
Date Built
1999 - 2001
Location
Paternoster Square
Description
Christchurch Court is one element of the Paternostra Square development.  The architects says of it that, "... As the largest building within the masterplan area, this building emerged as a critically important element and its location and design restored medieval vistas and perspectives, which had been lost for many years. In this spirit the curved front elevation reflects the impressive Portland stone towers that stand sentinel at the western end of the cathedral.  The design for the building features huge clear span floorplates, which provided the basis for the creation of two specialist dealing floors of 30,000 square feet each."
