The Mimoa website says that, "...100 Wood Street is a building with two faces."  The one shown below that faces on to Wood Street, "... is a conservative and simple arrangement of alternating stone piers and windows, ....




..... This is crowned by a curved diagrid roof, featuring alternating opaque and transparent panels."



The west elevation is quite different.  "Here the composition edges around the former churchyard of St Mary Staining - complete with tree and Roman ruins - in a bold raking curve of glass. ....



... The lower two floors are vertical and the line of the building above is continued to the ground by dramatic, giant, leaning steel columns, which some believe are purely for looks and serve no structural purpose."
