Description
This beautiful building on the corner of London Wall and Old Broad Street is home to Deutsche Bank.  In a style that reminds me of Art Deco this building has a concrete frame clad in French limestone panels.  The windows have black anodized aluminium frames and the contrasting black is continued in ornamental ironwork.

SHCA's website says that the building, " .. contains 44,600 sq m (480,000 sq ft) of trading floors, high quality offices and retail at ground floor. ....  The 44,600 sq m building responds to the multiple needs of a large financial organisation by providing nearly column-free office floors. Included in the project are three trading floors which are capable of accommodating up to 600 dealers per floor."

In the image above you can just glimpse James Rosenquist’s monumental painting ‘The Swimmer in the Econo-mist’ in the entrance lobby.
