Description
The Royal Spa Centre's website says that it has a main stage auditorium with 667 seats and a Studio with 188 seats, which also operates as a cinema.  They add that, "... In 2011 major refurbishment works totally transformed the foyers and auditorium seating of the Royal Spa Centre, making it an extremely intimate and comfortable venue to visit. Changes were also made to the programme of performances - attracting a diverse range of entertainment to the venue."   The building, designed by Sir Frederick Gibberd, was opened officially on June 15, 1972 by the local MP, Anthony Eden.
