1972
Location
London Road
Description
Apparently this building was intended to be a hotel but ended up as an office block.  It was originally Victory House, but when British Telecom took possession of it, the name became Telecom House.  When BT moved out, it did indeed become a hotel.

The Manchester Macdonald Hotel's website says this of itself, "The 4-star Macdonald Manchester hotel sits in the heart of Manchester, within walking distance of Piccadilly train station and close to major motorways.

Setting a new standard in luxury accommodation, our landmark hotel blends sophisticated meeting and conference facilities with delicious food and drink, stylish bedrooms, a fitness suite and spa. The Macdonald standard of personal service and hospitality completes the package, making the Manchester hotel a clear leader for business and leisure."
